Beta Terms
These terms describe the intended use of the CAMS Air Quality Platform during the beta period.

The platform is being provided for evaluation and may change as features, plan limits, supported pollutants, data availability and operating procedures are refined. Creating and verifying an account does not by itself guarantee compute access. Closed Beta extraction access may remain pending until it is approved administratively and can be revoked where needed to protect the service.
Account communications
The platform may send transactional messages required to operate and secure your account, including email-verification, password-reset, sign-in, account-security and email-change messages. These messages are operational rather than marketing communications.
Scientific use
CAMS EAC4 outputs are modelled regional atmospheric background data. They are not a substitute for regulatory on-site monitoring where direct measurements are required. Users remain responsible for determining whether the data and method are suitable for a specific study, authority or regulatory requirement.
Availability
Successful processing depends on platform infrastructure and on external Copernicus / ECMWF data services. Requests may be delayed, rejected or unavailable when the source dataset is unavailable, a requested date is outside the current data window, an external service is degraded, or platform safeguards temporarily limit processing.
Fair use
Accounts must not be used to bypass plan restrictions, create excessive automated requests, interfere with other users, probe the service for unauthorized access, or submit harmful content. The platform may enforce active-run limits, submission limits and account suspension to protect service availability and cost.
Outputs and attribution
Users should preserve appropriate Copernicus / CAMS / ECMWF acknowledgement and comply with the applicable Copernicus product licence and citation guidance when using derived outputs in reports or other deliverables.
No guarantee of regulatory acceptance
Use of the platform does not itself establish regulatory approval or acceptance of a study. Method selection, interpretation and final professional judgment remain with the user and the relevant authority.
