Information used by the platform

• Account information used for authentication, including the email address associated with your CAMS account.
• Extraction inputs such as coordinates, date range, selected pollutants and plan information.
• Operational records such as Run ID, job status, timestamps, failure details and usage counters.
• Transactional email delivery metadata, such as delivery, bounce, complaint or failure events for account verification, password reset and other security messages.
• Feedback you submit, together with limited diagnostic context such as Run ID, page and browser user-agent when available.

How information is used

Information is used to authenticate access, enforce plan limits, execute and troubleshoot CAMS jobs, provide results, deliver account and security messages, investigate failed email delivery, protect the beta from abusive or excessive use, and improve reliability and usability.

Infrastructure and service providers

The platform uses AWS services for authentication, application hosting, job execution, monitoring and storage. Transactional account email is delivered through Resend. CAMS EAC4 data requests are processed against the Copernicus Atmosphere Data Store / ECMWF services. Extraction outputs are stored in private platform storage and are subject to the platform retention configuration.

Retention

CAMS run files are currently configured with an approximately 90-day lifecycle. Operational, account, audit and email-delivery event records may be retained longer where needed for account state, troubleshooting, abuse prevention and beta support. Third-party providers may maintain their own service logs under their applicable terms and privacy documentation.

What not to submit

Do not place passwords, verification codes, API keys, payment card information or other secrets in the Feedback form, contact messages or extraction notes.
